The translation is drawn over the original words instead of being listed underneath, so the layout survives. One tap on Original brings the untouched photo back; Speak reads the result out loud, and Save keeps the translated image.

Do I need an internet connection?

For cloud AI translation, yes. If you download the offline dictionaries (45 languages), translation works with no connection and spends no quota.

How much does it cost?

On the website you can translate 3 photos a day with no sign-up. In the app the free plan gives 1,000 tokens a month, enough for about 55 photos, plus 20 screen captures. Paid plans start at $5.99 a month and remove the limit on screen translation.

Can the translation be read aloud?

Yes, the finished translation can be read aloud — 322 voices in 75 languages are available.

Is there a phone version?

Yes, for Android — that is the version that translates through the camera. Every build is on the download page.
